Kirby & the Amazing Mirror sends the pink puffball, split into four simultaneous copies of himself, through an open, interconnected Metroidvania-style map to defeat an evil doppelganger and free the Mirror World. Its cooperative four-player structure and sprawling map design made it a standout departure from the series' usual linear stages.
