About BeatMania
BeatMania brought Konami's arcade DJ simulator home for the first time, built around a dedicated five-key-and-turntable controller rather than the standard PlayStation pad. Its North American release shipped as two discs, a main disc pulling tracks from the arcade's second mix and a separate Append disc adding new Yebisu Mix songs, splitting content across physical media in a way most rhythm games of the era didn't.
