About Ridge Racer
Ridge Racer brought Namco's drift-heavy arcade racer to PlayStation as a launch showcase title, emphasizing sweeping power-slides through corners over strict simulation handling. Its fictional coastal circuits and pumping soundtrack helped define the arcade racing genre's console identity for years to come.
