About Thrasher: Skate and Destroy
Thrasher: Skate and Destroy predates Tony Hawk's Pro Skater by a year and takes a rawer, more realistic approach to street skating, with a control scheme built around holding directions to set up tricks rather than quick button combos. Its levels are grittier real-world locations, cities, gaps and rails without the arcade sheen that would define the genre soon after, and its licensed skate-punk soundtrack matches the scrappier tone throughout.
