About Vigilante 8
Vigilante 8 puts armed vehicles into an alternate 1970s desert setting, from an oil crisis backdrop to hostile pursuit across canyons and small towns. Each car carries a weapon suited to its size and a full tank of nitro for ramming, and open arenas let you use terrain and jumps as tactically as the weapons themselves. Its full destructible environments and a genuine sense of speed set it apart from other vehicular combat games of the era.
