Harvest Moon 64 tasks players with running a farm across changing seasons, planting crops, raising livestock and building relationships with the townsfolk of a rural village. Its relaxed, real-time farming loop and marriage system gave the series a more expansive 3D setting than its 2D predecessors while keeping the same slow, life-simulation appeal.
