About Asteroids
This 1998 Asteroids update keeps the classic ship controls, rotate, thrust, fire, plus a shield, a flip manoeuvre and hyperspace jumps, while adding enemy ships, regenerating crystal asteroids, indestructible rocks and hazardous gas bursts on top of the original's field of fragmenting space debris. New power-ups like ramming shields, homing missiles, smart bombs and an orbiting GunSat turret give the arcade formula noticeably more depth than the 1979 original.
