Battle Arena Toshinden 2 grows its roster past ten fighters with new additions like Tracy and a reworked version of the boss Gaia, while adding separate high and low guard for upper and lower body defence that the original lacked. Eight difficulty levels and multiple selectable camera angles round out a sequel focused on refining the original's 3D sidestep formula rather than reinventing it.
