About Breath of Fire IV
Breath of Fire IV trades the previous game's brighter, more optimistic setting for a noticeably darker tone, and introduces a combo system where chaining spells and techniques together deals more damage than casting them alone. Its battle camera can rotate a full three hundred and sixty degrees, though it still can't tilt up or down, giving fights more visual freedom than the series had before.
