About Castlevania Chronicles
Castlevania Chronicles remakes the X68000 computer version of the original 1986 arcade-style Castlevania rather than the more familiar NES release, keeping its punishing whip-and-subweapon platforming intact while adding a choice between the classic pixel art and newly rendered high-resolution graphics. It plays as a direct look back at the series' roots for players who never had access to the Japan-only X68000 original.
