About Descent
Descent brings the PC's six-degrees-of-freedom mining-tunnel shooter to PlayStation as a fairly direct port, letting a small ship fly, strafe and rotate freely through fully 3D corridors rather than staying locked to a horizontal plane. Its disorienting sense of total freedom of movement set it apart from the flat, ground-based shooters that dominated the era.
