Die Hard Trilogy 2: Viva Las Vegas weaves its three genres, third-person action, on-rails shooting and open driving, into one continuous original Movie Mode story of McClane battling terrorists in Las Vegas, rather than the first game's three separate film-based experiences. An Arcade Mode still lets players run through all the shooting or driving stages back-to-back with bonus levels, keeping the original's pick-and-choose flexibility available.
