About Gensou Suikoden
Gensou Suikoden, the Japanese release of Suikoden, sends its hero gathering an enormous cast of over one hundred recruitable characters to build a rebellion's headquarters and army against an oppressive empire. Recruiting individual characters, each with their own personality and often a personal reason for joining, drives the story forward as much as the war itself.
