About Silent Hill
Silent Hill sends writer Harry Mason into a fog-shrouded, nightmarish version of the titular town searching for his missing daughter, exploring dark streets and a rusted alternate dimension filled with grotesque monsters. Its psychological horror atmosphere, radio-static enemy warnings and unsettling symbolism distinguished it from the more action-oriented survival horror of its era.
