Spider-Man 2 - Enter: Electro

Spider-Man 2: Enter Electro follows the wall-crawler as he tries to stop Electro from seizing the Bio-Nexus Device, fighting through a rogues' gallery that includes Shocker, Hammerhead, Sandman and Lizard on the way to a supercharged final boss. Its original August 2001 release set the climactic battle atop the World Trade Center; after the September 11 attacks the game was pulled and reissued weeks later with that level rebuilt and the towers no longer named, a rare case of a game's content changing in direct response to real-world events.
