About Strider
Strider ports Capcom's acrobatic arcade action game, casting players as ninja Hiryu as he cuts through soldiers and mechanical enemies with the Cypher, a plasma blade that doubles as a climbing and swinging tool. Fast, fluid movement across scaffolding, pipes and vertical drops defines the pace more than raw combat difficulty, and its Soviet-flavoured near-future setting gave it a distinct visual identity among early-90s action platformers.
