About Suikoden
Suikoden built its role-playing adventure around a genuinely huge cast: 108 recruitable Stars of Destiny, each with a name, a portrait and a role to play in the war against the tyrannical Highland Empire, gathered one by one into a growing liberation army headquartered in a castle that expands as the story progresses. Turn-based battles support large parties and even army-scale strategic skirmishes, but the game's real hook is the slow accumulation of a found family across dozens of hours.
