Tomba! 2: The Evil Swine Return expands the original's quest-driven platforming with a larger world, new pig transformations to steal from defeated enemies, and a greater emphasis on the branching, non-linear structure that made the first game distinctive. Hundreds of separate events still drive progress, from simple item deliveries to entire side-areas that only open once specific quests are completed, and Tomba's bite-and-throw combat carries over unchanged.
