Wild Arms

Wild Arms set its role-playing adventure in a desert world modelled on the American frontier, complete with revolvers, ARMs that work like magic guns, and a soundtrack built around harmonica and slide guitar. Three protagonists with distinct tools, a legendary swordsman, a runaway princess and a treasure hunter, take turns leading a story about ancient technology buried beneath the sand. Its field puzzles, solved with each character's item, made exploration as important as combat.
