About Cardinal Syn
Cardinal Syn builds its fighting around melee weapons rather than bare-handed martial arts, with each of its warriors wielding swords, axes or maces across large 3D arenas rather than the tight, boxed-in stages typical of the genre. Its emphasis on reach and weapon-specific movesets gave weapon-based combat more depth than most fighting games attempted at the time.
