About Dead or Alive
Dead or Alive's PlayStation port reworks its arcade original noticeably, replacing the Virtua Fighter-style ring-out stages with Tekken-style infinite arenas and swapping fully 3D backgrounds for flat, texture-mapped planes while sharpening character model shading. Two new fighters, Bass and Ayane, join the roster alongside new music and a wide range of alternate costumes not found in the arcade version.
