Street Fighter Alpha 3 caps the sub-series with its largest roster yet and the ISM system, letting each fighter be played under one of three distinct rule sets, X-ISM for single powerful supers, A-ISM for the Alpha games' chain combos, or V-ISM for a custom combo system, effectively giving every character three different playstyles. That flexibility, combined with a genuinely huge cast pulled from across Street Fighter history, made it one of the most feature-dense 2D fighters of its generation.
