Street Fighter Alpha: Warriors' Dreams reimagines Capcom's flagship fighter with a hand-drawn art style closer to the animated films than the original arcade sprites, and fills the gaps in the series timeline between the first Street Fighter and Street Fighter II. Its Alpha Counter system lets a defending fighter interrupt a combo at the cost of meter, adding a defensive tool that changed how aggressive play could be punished compared to earlier entries.
