About Tekken

Tekken introduced Namco's long-running fighting series with a roster built around family rivalries, most notably the feud between Kazuya Mishima and his father Heihachi that would define the franchise for decades. Its four-button layout, one per limb, gave fighters a directness that arcade contemporaries lacked, and the 3D character models, while primitive by later standards, let each fighter's stance and silhouette read clearly even in an early PlayStation launch window title.
