WWF WrestleMania: The Arcade Game treats professional wrestling as an over-the-top fighting game rather than a simulation, closer in spirit to Mortal Kombat than to a wrestling sim. Wrestlers throw fireballs, get launched across the arena and no-sell moves that would flatten a normal opponent, all wrapped around exaggerated, digitised versions of real WWF stars from the mid-90s. It is unapologetically silly and built purely for quick, chaotic matches with a friend.
